1. Who controls your data

2. What is collected and why

Enquiries. The form on the Enquiry page stores nothing on the website: the button opens your own email program with a ready message that you send yourself. From that message, your name, email address, phone number (if given), dates, number of guests, the room or apartment you chose and your message are used so that Resort Vidmar can answer you and prepare your stay. The legal basis is your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The calendar and quick search. The dates you pick on the calendar or in the bar on the home page stay in your browser; when you click through, they are only carried in the address of the Enquiry page so the form is already filled in.

Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses in short-lived logs for security and to deliver the pages. Cloudflare also records anonymous visit statistics on the site (Cloudflare Web Analytics): which pages are opened, how fast they load, the browser type and the country. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and builds no visitor profiles.

3. What is not used

No cookies, no ads or tracking, no embedded maps or videos. Fonts are served from this site, so apart from the Cloudflare statistics above, viewing it sends no requests to Google or other third parties. The "Open in Google Maps" link only opens Google when you click it.

4. How long data is kept

Enquiries are kept as long as needed to answer you and for your stay; invoicing and guest registration data are kept as long as the law requires.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. To exercise them, write to vidmar.booking@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
