Lake Bled is five kilometres away: a little over twenty minutes by bike on the cycle path from Lesce, a ten-minute bus ride, or about ten minutes by car. The bus stop is a few minutes' walk from the homestead. Bikes go into a locked room overnight, where e-bike batteries can be charged too.

The Vintgar gorge is nine kilometres away, the old town of Radovljica three, and Lake Bohinj and Kranjska Gora a little over half an hour's drive. The homestead is a few minutes from the motorway exit, so Ljubljana and the airport are quick to reach too.

The courtyard is at its best in the evening: tables on the lawn, a gazebo in the garden and flowers along the gallery. On the ground floor of the yellow house there is a Mexican restaurant (run separately), and a few inns and a shop are in the village. Quiet hours start at 10 pm.
