Guest information
Everything you need to know before you arrive and during your stay, sorted by place on the homestead: from the car park to the breakfast room and the church tower across the road.
IOn arrival
When can I arrive?
From 4 to 10 pm. Let the homestead know your arrival time in advance; for a later arrival, arrange it by phone or email.
Where is my room's door?
Every room has its own door, from the courtyard or from the wooden gallery reached by outside stairs. The ground-floor room with a terrace has no stairs.
Which languages are spoken?
Slovenian, English, German, Croatian and Serbian.
IIParking and bikes
Where do I park?
Free of charge, in front of the homestead or in the car park across the road. In the evening, when the restaurant in the yellow house is busy, the spaces in front can fill up; there is more room across the road.
Where do bikes go?
Into a locked room on the homestead overnight, where you can charge e-bike batteries too. For a motorbike, ask on arrival.
IIIIn the room or apartment
Can I cook in the room?
The rooms have no kitchen; each has a kettle and a few mugs. The apartments in the yellow house have a kitchen with an oven.
Do the rooms have air conditioning?
Yes, in every room, and in the apartments' living rooms. In winter all rooms are heated.
Are towels and bed linen included?
Yes, and a hairdryer too. Wi-Fi is free.
Is there a cot for a baby?
Ask in advance about a cot or an extra bed, and give the children's ages.
IVIn the breakfast room
Is breakfast included?
No, breakfast is extra and optional. Mention it in your enquiry or order it when you arrive.
What is breakfast like?
A buffet with cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurt, cereals, fruit, pastries and jam, coffee from the machine and scrambled eggs on request. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free breakfast on request. It is served under the vaults or outside in the courtyard.
VIn the courtyard
Is there a garden?
The inner courtyard with its tables and chairs, lawn, old tree and wooden gazebo is there for all guests.
When are the quiet hours?
In the rooms from 10 pm to 8 am, in the apartments from 10 pm to 6 am. Hen, stag and similar parties are not possible.
Can I bring my dog?
Ask in advance about pets. A friendly dog lives on the homestead.
Is smoking allowed?
Not in the rooms or apartments.
VIIn the village
Can you hear the church bells?
Yes. The Church of the Assumption is across the road and its bell strikes the hours and quarters during the day, from early morning until 9 pm; at night it is silent. Some guests love it; if you are a very light sleeper, it is good to know in advance.
Where can I eat?
On the ground floor of the yellow house is a Mexican restaurant, run separately from the accommodation. There are a few more places to eat in Lesce, and plenty in Radovljica and Bled.
Where is the nearest shop?
A grocery shop is 300 m away, a five-minute walk. The railway station is 400 m away.
VIIOn departure
When do I have to check out?
Check-out is from 8 to 10 am. If you leave later in the day, you can leave your luggage at the homestead.
How much does a stay cost?
The price depends on the room or apartment, the dates and the number of nights. Ask for a price; the reply also tells you how payment works.
